TitleMatch first unveiled its CSS enabled service at the January Consumer Electronics Show and more recently at the ESCA technology conference in Hollywood, California. The new TitleMatch system leverages Sonic’s Qflix technology for recording delivered entertainment to DVD with CSS encryption. In addition, the TitleMatch service uses Macrovision’s RipGuard and Fortium’s Patronus technologies to enable the secure custom manufacturing of premium movie and television titles onto recordable DVDs. The DVD Copy Control Association is a not-for-profit corporation with responsibility for licensing Content Scramble System to manufactures of DVD hardware, discs and related products. Licensees include the owners and manufacturers of the content of DVD discs; creators of encryption engines and many more.
