When you buy a DVD to watch it on flat TV screen at home, you also want to watch on portable media player and laptop without the disk. For this you have to get the movie again or avoid the copy protection on the disc and make your own digital copy of the movie. But now there are two studios are allowing copying the movie to your device from the DVD itself. Lovers of the new ‘Live Free or Die Hard’ and ‘Harry Potter’ movie DVDs will be allowed to make digital copies. Both The Fox and Warner include digital-copy feature at no extra charge on the special-edition DVDs, which run at about a $5 premium over the standard editions. They both offer two digital versions of the movie one for PC and one for a portable device.
